To enjoy this surburban spotlight, you might need to cross some electoral boundaries because The Park Social is in the beautiful Redland Bay area. On a fine sunny day, it is well worth the effort. We often chat being able to get great coffee and great food in the one place … this cafe is definitely now part of that conversation.
The coffee is roasted by DHC Coffee Co which is literally just out the back … talk about low food metres 😉 We had the joy of smelling some greens beans, including ones that smelt like a strawberry field. As well as blends, you can sample single origin beans to tempt your taste buds.
We had long blacks on the El Salvador single origin as we enjoyed a super tasty brekky. The harissa spice in the sauce of the brekky bowl was a perfect foil for the juicy long black. Dan also brought out a cold brew made on the roasted ‘strawberry’ green beans. Wow! Coffee of the year so far … hands down.
What a delightful morning with the delightful Dan and staff. It was time to load up the Yeti’s with a take away coffee to fuel the bayside walk. Truly a social experience at The Park Social.
